Terms of service

1. Acceptance

By installing or using a service published by lunalink.ai (“we,” “us,” “our”) — the free tools at lunalink.ai and any Shopify app under the lunalink.ai brand — you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. The services

We publish a small family of products under lunalink.ai: free browser tools at lunalink.ai/tools and Shopify apps. Each Shopify app has its own appendix at the bottom of these terms covering app-specific behaviour like plan limits, AI output, and review-before-publish flow.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the services for content that is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the services in a way that disrupts other users.
• Use the services to generate misleading product information or to violate consumer-protection laws of the territories you sell in.
• Re-sell, sublicense, or wrap our services as if they were your own product.

4. AI output and your responsibility

The services use AI models (notably from OpenAI) to draft text and analyse images. AI output can be inaccurate, outdated, or out of context. You are responsible for reviewing every draft before it's published or used in customer-facing copy. Our apps are designed around this — every generation is a draft, never an automatic publish.

If a draft is wrong about a product's features, ingredients, dimensions, materials, or anything else, that is not a defect of the service — that's the model making a mistake, and your review step is what catches it.

5. Billing

Paid Shopify apps are billed through Shopify's Billing API on the plan you select. Charges appear on your Shopify invoice; we never see your card details. Plan pricing, included quotas, and trial terms are described on each app's pricing page and in its appendix below.

You can cancel any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin. Cancellation is immediate. We do not issue refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law or stated otherwise in the app's appendix.

6. Account and termination

You can stop using the services at any time — uninstall the Shopify app or close the browser tab on a free tool. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these terms or the acceptable-use rules above. We will give you reasonable notice except where the violation is severe or where giving notice would cause harm.

7. Intellectual property

The services, including the underlying code, designs, and documentation, belong to lunalink.ai or our licensors. You retain ownership of the data you provide and the AI-generated output you choose to publish to your own store. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service on your behalf — for example, sending product fields to our AI sub-processor so a description can be generated.

8. No warranty

The services are provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that AI-generated output will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular use — see section 4.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, lunalink.ai is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or revenue, arising from your use of the services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is capped at the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD 100.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify lunalink.ai against third-party claims arising from your use of the services in violation of these terms — for example, publishing AI-generated copy that misrepresents a product without reviewing it first.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which lunalink.ai is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes that can't be resolved informally will be brought in that jurisdiction's courts.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via the affected product or by updating the “Last updated” date at the top. Continuing to use the services after a change means you accept the new terms.
